Matt Holliday was removed from the Colorado Rockies‘ starting lineup Friday night because of tightness in his lower back. Holliday was originally in the lineup against the Minnesota Twins, but his back didn’t loosen up sufficiently after treatment and he was replaced in left field by Ryan Spilborghs.
