Scott Hairston and Khalil Greene homered to spoil Greg Reynolds’ major league debut, leading the Padres to a 6-1 victory over the Colorado Rockies on Sunday and their first series win in nearly a month.

Right-hander Greg Reynolds, the second pick overall in the 2006 draft, made his big league debut Sunday with the Colorado Rockies, starting against the San Diego Padres. The Rockies purchased Reynolds’ contract from Triple-A Colorado Springs. To make room on the roster, left-hander Mark Redman was optioned to the Sky Sox.
